How to use the digital torque wrench?

Commonly used torque wrenches can be divided into preset torque wrenches, dial torque wrenches, and digital torque wrenches, which can be applied to various hardware industries.

(1) The opening size of the selected torque wrench must be consistent with the size of the bolt or nut. If the opening of the wrench is too large, it is easy to slip off and damage the hexagon of the screw. In the maintenance of imported vehicles, attention should be paid to the selection of the metric and inch wrench; The selection principle of the wrench is generally preferred to use the socket wrench, followed by the torx wrench, then the open-end wrench, and finally the adjustable wrench.

(2) In order to prevent the wrench from being damaged and slipping off, the pulling force should be applied to the thicker side of the opening, which should be especially noted for adjustable wrenches with greater force, in order to prevent the opening from appearing in an "eight" shape and damage the nut and the wrench.

(3) The torque wrench is designed according to the strength of the human hand. When encountering tight threaded parts, the wrench cannot be hit with a hammer; except for the socket wrench, other wrenches cannot be fitted with an afterburner to prevent damage to the wrench or Threaded connection

(4) When using the torque wrench, when you hear a "pop", it is the most appropriate time

Precautions for use and maintenance of digital torque wrench
1. The torque wrench is a precision mechanical instrument. It should be used with caution, and the internal mechanism should not fail due to sudden application of force.
2. The torque wrench cannot be used as a hammer, it should be handled with care and not thrown away.
3. It cannot be disassembled at will. After replacing the parts, it should be sent to the calibration group for calibration to confirm whether its function meets the requirements.
4. Can not work over the range, when the set value is reached and the click sound is heard, the afterburner should be stopped.
5. Do not block, bond, or fix the torque adjustment sleeve or handle with foreign objects.
6. When using, the torque should be adjusted according to the instructions of PIE or IPQC. After the controller adjusts the torque value, it should be confirmed before it can be used for production.
